Hello and a very warm welcome! I’m Lauren, the face behind Makeup by Lauren Dearden, thank you so much for stopping by.

Simply put, I absolutely love making people feel beautiful! I believe in enhancing your natural beauty or features - not just covering. I pride myself in really getting to know my clients, and collaborating with anyone else involved for the best final result. When you book me you are guaranteed a friendly face, a professional end to end service and your very own hype girl!

Before becoming a freelance makeup artist, I am grateful to have gained over 15 years’ of valuable industry experience working with some of the most reputable brands in beauty - Bobbi Brown, Estée Lauder, Clinique and Lancôme to name a few. I had the opportunity to work backstage at London Fashion Week, educate others at large scale industry led events and paint the faces of celebrity clients - all first hand experience that contributes to the delivery of my work today.

The extensive product knowledge I have gained means I will always carry the very best products in my kit, and be able to share my advice with you too!

  • I use a lot of Bobbi Brown, Nars, Charlotte Tilbury, MAC, Natasha Denona, Too Faced and more!

  • I wash my full set of brushes after every job. During a make up appointment or wedding morning, I thoroughly sanitise brushes between clients or work using Isoclean. My kit is also thoroughly sanitised regularly - and you will see me use the appropriate disposable tools and hand sanitiser between clients and throughout your appointment!
